Jesus wept - the shortest sentence in the bible has the most significance. that is the Lord's way, not ours. He is incomprehensible to the natural man; which is a good thing bc it allows us to know Him and understand that it is not of ourselves bc we would have chosen another path. We would not choose suffering and dying for the unworthy and unappreciative. We would have chosen fairer plan. One that would have made the sinner pay at least a relational value for their sin and in some ways we still do. Forgetting that it was the owner of the garden that hired the workers and paid them according to what had been agreed on. Amazing the Lord of the Vineyard makes the wages about His desire and not about the workers, some to honor and some to dishonor yet all valuable to the body of Christ. Each member serving in the capacity that Christ determines.
